The Cat King (Written by Renata Bomfim/ Translated by Daniel Castro and Renato Silva)

 To Elvis

And then he came
Slowly, the Cat King
His lover's glance
Diamond
Saying he had been bitten
By the same thing
That had killed Romeu,
Julius Caesar, Garibaldi and
Abelardo
To my chest he jumped at
As wild as a lion
His (blessed) claws
Slashed my flesh
Tore my fibers apart
Left scars on my lungs, heart
Now i'm his loyal subject
Always ready to please
His fluffiest wishes
I'm his human pet
